Se here's my crummy sketches. I've fallen WAAAY off the wagon, and I've only got a few, and only 2 of them are good. But hey each new week is a new start, yes?
I posted on time this week, but I missed last weeks post all together. So these drawings represent the last two weeks. The first pic shown is a piece I did for my friends Cathleen and Gio's wedding. I haven't finished a piece of art in a long time and it feels good. I should do it more often. I'm pretty happy with the way the final came out but I think there is something missing from the hair that I just can't put my finger on. Maybe some negative space? The two following pieces are just roughs that I sketched up before I committed to the final piece.
Here's week two of my sketches and it hasn't gotten any easier. Still rusty, still late, and still missing some drawings. I gotta stop acting like this sketchbook is made of gold and just fill it up with drawings good or bad. It's only paper!
Here's my second round. I'm missing one again... I didn't draw anything the day of our physical inventory at work. Where are my brothers to support me?
Once long ago I drew... a lot. But as time passed I began to stray away from my true passion, DRAWING. So with this blog I will begin my journey back to being an artist first and everything else second. It will be a hard at first to squeeze in time to draw everyday but with the help of this support group, I will redeem myself and finally be able to say that I DRAW EVERYDAY.
Now for reality... For my first entry into this blog I can honestly say that I only drew 5 days out of the week and on top of that it's late. Sorry. Next week I will not only have some badass drawings (hopefully), but it will be submitted on time. No excuses.
